Hiring: Seasonal Farm Work – Eden Pond Farm

Eden Pond Farm in Bernardston seeks a seasonal farm worker for our pastured poultry business. This 25-30 hours/week job entails daily feeding and watering of our meat birds and laying hens, moving mobile hutches and fences, collecting and washing eggs, delivering birds for processing and product to restaurants, preparing for and occasionally staffing Saturday farmers markets, and other farm tasks and repairs as needed. We are looking for someone willing to work hard, able to troubleshoot problems, and interested in brainstorming improvements and helping to grow the family business. Experience with livestock preferred but not required; carpentry experience  a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Hours generally Mon-Sat 7:00-12:00; some flexibility possible. Additional hours, housing may be available. Competitive wage, commensurate with experience.
