Hiring: Washroom Co-Manager

Kitchen Garden Farm is hiring for two managerial positions that will share responsibility for washing and packing all of the farm’s organic produce. These are 4 day/week positions, approximately 45+ hours/week. Work day is generally 7am-7pm. Schedules available are either MTWF or TThFS, beginning May 2021.

Two and a half days per week will be spent running the washroom, washing and packing vegetables, filling and managing orders, organizing a clean, efficient workspace that meets food safety requirements, and overseeing 1 to 2 other workers. (The other 1.5 days will be spent working on the Harvest Crew).

We are looking for high-energy, detail-oriented, self-motivated applicants with good communication and organizational skills and ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Some experience managing co-workers and/or being totally self-sufficient at work is required. These positions report to the Washroom Operations Manager. On the job training will be provided in forklift operation and order management software.

Location: 131 S. Silver Lane, Sunderland, MA

Pay: $15/hour, plus overtime > 40 hours/week, and unlimited vegetables.
