Overview and Eligibility 

If you are interested in receiving a Senior Farm Share, please contact the closest distribution site for an application form.

Shares will be distributed by lottery to applicants after enrollment closes on May 30th. Filling out an application does not guarantee that you will be a participant in the Senior Farm Share program.

Share distribution typically starts in July and the schedule varies by site.

Eligible seniors must be over the age of 60, and meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Receive SNAP benefits (food stamps), Medicaid, SSI, AFDC, welfare, or veterans aid;
  • Participate in The Food Bank’s Brown Bag Program;
  • Live alone and my income is below $29,160; or,
  • Live in a household where the total income is below $39,440 (only one share per household please).
