Creating a Cooperative Food Economy

This class will focus on efforts that are happening across the country to combine the cooperative movement with creating a more just and sustainable food system, and the need for such an effort. The session will take place over three hours on June 25nd from 4 – 7 PM EST. The class will consist of presentation from co-op experts, facilitated group conversations, a Q&A with a representative from a cooperative member working in the field on this issue, and short activities. People with all levels of knowledge on cooperatives and sustainable food systems are more than welcome and encouraged to take this course.

This course is taught by Toolbox for Education and Social Action, TESA and is adapted from the Farm & Food Cooperatives course developed for Greenfield Community College. For more information visit the TESA website.
