Springfield Public Schools food service, Home Grown Springfield, has a mission to eliminate student hunger in our schools and community. Springfield Public Schools serves 100% of students free meals and is working to revolutionize school food with meals made through our Culinary and Nutrition Center. The Garden Coordinator will serve as a main point-person working on one of our main goals of expanding student learning opportunities. Springfield Public Schools currently is home to nearly 30 school gardens and has dreams of a garden in every school. If you are a highly motivated, organized, and experienced educator who knows their way around cultivating change in gardens and the classroom, come join our team!
