Mosaic Eco-Solutions

Mosaic Eco-Solutions is forming a local wood based cooperative. We offer many services including Forest Stewardship, Ecological Enhancements – in forests and in backyards, Community and Urban Forest Stewardship, and Civil Engineering services with an ecological perspective. As part of performing these services, we acquire local raw wood material which we use to produce firewood, logs for growing mushrooms, habitat features for small mammals, birds, herps, and pollinators, and cultivation of native species using local seed sources. We hope to help the urban/suburban community reintegrate nature and use local products first, encouraging regional sustainability and enhancement of local biodiversity.  We also help land stewards through the process of understanding / recognizing how forests change, and how to implement strategies for encouraging the habitat that has been lost through past land use.  Love is achieved through restoration.
