The primary business of the farm is the sale of milk produced by the 35 cow herd. With the help of our son, Carl, we are building a beef herd and also raise broilers in the warmer months. We have USDA inspected beef for sale at the farm and also our farm raised broilers, either whole or cut up. We also sell some firewood and hay if there is extra.
We use limited till for our field corn and new seeding grass or pastures which involves using a disc harrow to incorporate the manure. The corn is then planted with a no till planter and the grass is done with a Brillion cultipacker
