Join Cornell Cooperative Extension Agriculture Marketing Specialist Matt LeRoux to find out if you are covering all your meat marketing costs—including your TIME—and bringing in a profit. In the workshop, you will learn how to develop your farm’s marketing strategy and how to set specific marketing objectives to make your job easier. In addition to marketing tips, you’ll learn about Cornell Cooperative Extension’s NEW Meat Price Calculator.

This workshop is ideal for farmers raising animals for pork, beef, lamb/mutton, goat and other meat sold by the cut.

About the Presenter

Matt is an Agriculture Marketing Specialist with Cornell Cooperative Extension – Tompkins County. He is also the author/designer of Meat Suite, and is currently developing a Meat Pricing Calculator for producers. We’re excited to have him back to the Valley to talk specifically to livestock farmers in our area.

Cost to attend is $15.00 and only $10.00 for each additional attendee from your farm. Local Hero Members receive a 20% discount on tickets. Please select the LH Member option below if you are a member. Food will be provided.
