Meat Marketing Workshop

$40 per person registration includes lunch and resource materials. (You may add up to 3 additional registrants from the same farm or organization at $35/ea.) Register online by June 4.

Featuring guest speakers Matt LeRoux (Agricultural Marketing Specialist, Cornell Cooperative Extension) and Jason Bond (chef and founder, Bondir Restuarant)

An event for any New England livestock farmer—beginning, experienced, or prospective—exploring how best to market their lamb, beef, pork, goat, or other meat animals. Topics covered will include:

  • Finding and communicating with your target market
  • Choosing a marketing channel
  • Selling the whole animal
  • Pricing cuts
  • Selling to restaurants – the chef’s perspective

…and quite a bit more. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn from Matt LeRoux (who basically does this for a living at Cornell Cooperative Extension) and Jason Bond (up-and-coming locavore chef).
