Plant attunement with local “invasive” species – practicing communication, curiosity and creativity with our local flora

Invasive species are a hot topic for conservationists, farmers, and residents. Spray the invasives? Eradicate? Celebrate? Cherish? WMRFS and Sage Green Botanicals would like to take the time to honor this complex relationship with humans and so called “invasive” species, and slide into conversation with the plants on the edges of our landscapes. What are they trying to tell us? How may their presence inform our decision-making practices? Plant attunements allow us to approach our neighbors with creativity and curiosity.
