Return of the Mighty Chestnut

Join Seeds of Solidarity for an experiential, educational day filled with chestnut science, lore, planting, and cooking. Enthusiasts Lois and Denis, members of the American Chestnut Cooperators Foundation will inspire with ample knowledge, growing and maintenance how-to, and recipes to help us all bring back these trees, so vital to food security, climate resilience, habitat and history. They’ll share updates on other regional chestnut efforts as well. Pre-registration required, Sliding scale $35-$60, Proceeds donated to the American Chestnut Cooperators Foundation. BYO lunch, chestnut sampling included!
