This conference will explore the intersection of food security, social justice, and sustainable agriculture. It will address a variety of community food system topics. There are certain cross-cutting issues we believe are fundamental in community food systems and in building a strong, equitable food future.

They were both a blast, with friends and a bunch of new faces! 

We're starting to make connections with the Great Falls Discovery Center, Montague Parks & Rec, the Skate Park, RiverCulture, Shade Tree Commission, and the Board of Selectmen.  We're excited to be co-creating fun community events and growing local resiliency.

GREAT WORKSHOP PRESENTERS WANTED for "ORGANICONN" - our 36th Annual CT NOFA Winter Conference on March 10, 2018 at Western Connecticut State University, Danbury, CT. * The snow date is Sunday, March 11, 2018 in the event of inclement weather and the university closes.

Designed for those starting or caring for a vegetable garden, this course will include discussion of soil and nutrient management, no-till practices, seed selection, crop rotation schemes, bed preparation, seeding and planting, pest management, and specific plant cultivation, all in the context of the different vegetable groups. Each week, students will investigate a different vegetable family. 4 classes. 1/11/18 to 2/8/18. Cost $230
