Join GTC, an urban farming and youth development project committed to sustainable agriculture, food justice and racial equity as we work to bring our newest farm site on line.
Work to be accomplished will include finishing a thermal trench around our beautiful passive solar greenhouse, preparing for rain water harvesting, moving soil into the greenhouse, and readying beds for winter. Dress warmly in layers and prepare to get dirty; bring water, gloves and snacks to share. Also if you can bring a wheelbarrow, the more the better!
