The Livestock Institute of Southern New England and Bristol Aggie are co-hosting the first annual Southern New England Livestock Conference. The conference will provide a platform to share information on best practices for humanely raising livestock, humane slaughter and processing, and marketing of meat products. Work to be accomplished will include finishing a thermal trench around our beautiful passive solar greenhouse, preparing for rain water harvesting, moving soil into the greenhouse, and readying beds for winter.
