NEPM: Momentum Ag, and Field Notes!

Lincoln Fishman is performing a story at Field Notes next Saturday, Feb 8 – a bit of an origin story for Momentum Ag, the organization he founded to help speed the adoption of sustainable farming techniques through farmer-led research and learning. Momentum has worked with a handful of Northeast farms so far on fine-tuning living clover mulch systems, virtual fencing, and new strategies for cover crops. Each year they’re adding new farms. Momentum also gives away thousands of pounds of produce from their research farm in “feast boxes,” distributed last year to kids at New Hingham Regional Elementary School in Chesterfield and Conte Community School in Pittsfield.
