Johanna Rosen grows for Truelove Seeds from her farm in Montague. Rosen named the farm after a dragonfly, which evokes both the meadow and the hawks of the farm’s landscape.

Rosen is growing heritage varieties of tomatoes, peppers, beans, lettuce, melons, and a Palestinian summer squash. Truelove Seeds is connected to the Palestinian Heirloom Seed project to preserve that cultural heritage.

Rosen is a former board member of Grow Food Northampton.
