WORKSHOP CANCELED: Farmer-to-farmer: sharing farm labor management successes and challenges

April 2, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

**NOTE: THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS CONCERNS. WE HOPE TO BE ABLE TO RESCHEDULE IT AT A LATER TIME.**

All those who attend one or more of CISA’s winter workshops on farm labor management are invited to join this facilitated farmer-to-farmer discussion. This session will allow time for more in-depth conversation and idea-sharing related to several of the topics raised during the preceding workshops. Attendees will have the opportunity to get input from other farmers on specific management challenges they face and to share their own management strategies. Discussion topics will include strategies for training and coaching employees, building effective and accountable teams on the farm, establishing open lines of communication, encouraging employee input and engagement, and how to make time for it all! Seasoned farm managers will be participating to share their experiences and help facilitate conversation. This session is free, and dinner will be provided.

Register here by Tuesday, March 31st.

This workshop is part of a six-workshop series on farm labor management. Click here for information on the other workshops in this series.
