Preserving the Bounty: A FREE Preservation Workshop!

Ever wonder what to do with all that basil? Cabbage? Blueberries? Food For All Amherst is excited for our hands-on workshop that will cover the basics of preservation. With stations of JAMS, FERMENTATION (Sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles, etc), and PESTOS (basil, kale, cilantro, etc) you will learn the basics and feel confident trying at home!
There will be (delicious) samples and you will go home with your own jar of kraut/kimchi! Handouts with instructions will also be shared!
For all levels–both beginners and experienced welcome! Come share recipes, ideas, and build skills for community and food system resilience!
Bring a mason jar if you have one!
