We maintain ongoing relationships with farmers and other professionals that can assist farms on: farm labor legal issues, farm apprenticeships, managing complex staff needs, interpersonal relationships and conflict resolution, staff management, enterprise analysis, accounting, and Quickbooks. Social Media:

Claire Morenon from CISA can offer assistance with a social media marketing plan. Are you new to Facebook? Claire may be able to help. Tim Wilcox from The Kitchen Garden also shared his social media expertise and farm story in our workshop series and he may be able to help you think of how to create your own.


Caroline Pam from The Kitchen Garden shared her branding strategy for her farm and her farm story. Devon Whitney-Deal from CISA can also assist you with branding questions you have for your farm/business.

Merchandising on the Farm:

Mike McCusker, previous owner of McCusker’s Market, is available to help you critique the layout of your farm stand, retail store, and farmers’ market booth setup to ensure you are maximizing the layout for your business. He will let you know if your presentation is effective and flows properly from a customer perspective.

Website Design and Critique:

Mary Hager of Function First Design will help you create a new website, or review your current website and talk though ideas for improving it.

Press Release Writing:

Rachael Colacino, Director of Communications and Media at Berkshire Healthcare Systems, can guide you through the process of writing an effective press release and thinking about when a press release would be appropriate.

Print Media Critique:

Devon Whitney-Deal can help review print marketing materials, including ads, brochures, flyers, and business cards, to ensure they are effectively communicating the message you want to convey.

Graphic Design:

CISA has several graphic designers that can assist you with creating a logo or creating marketing materials.
