Selective breeding of Honeybees for mite and disease resistance. Dan is the Vice President of the Russian Honeybee Breeders Association. RHBA works with the USDA Genetics Lab to identify inherited behaviors that defend against disease and mites. Warm Colors Apiary has been using management practices that reduce or eliminate the need for chemical intervention since 2000.
