Sign up for CISA's enewsHowden Farm, a 250-acre farm, raises 30 acres of sweet corn known locally as “sweet corn at its best”. It is also the home of the “Howden Pumpkins”. Three varieties of Howden Pumpkins have been developed here on this farm. We have a fall festival with “u-pick” pumpkins. It has been said that my father, John A. Howden, did for the pumpkin industry, what Henry Ford did for the car industry.
Howden Farm’s mission is to maintain the agricultural integrity and heritage of this farm by raising the Howden Pumpkin Varieties, our famous sweet corn and other quality produce on the beauty of this open agricultural land.
